Hi, I’m Bianca.
This is a blog of things that I love: fashion, music, rocking out, batman and this one.
Co-founder of Small Girls PR and 27 year old girl about (down)town NY & BK.
I also love emails. bianca@biancarocksout.com
My blog was designed by the awesome Jacob Bijani.Graveyard, The Devil Makes Three, Dinner With the Band.
Yay! DWTB is my favorite. Also… me dancing in the far right corner. :)
clean·ing, v.tr.: To rid of dirt, rubbish, or impurities (clean a room)
or in my case: To dance with a swiffer… in a onesie and a sequin headband with a snake on it.
Also, the progress of the apartment has improved since this video was uploaded.
Last week we stopped by Cure Thrift Shop in East Village to say hello to DesignerSocial’s own Bianca Caampued and check out the store’s spring preview.
While we were there, we spotted a lot of great pieces including some bold statement jewelry and a beautiful blue vintage Christian Dior skirt suit.
Cure Thrift is a great spot for affordable vintage and secondhand finds, and there’s always something new to check out and proceeds go to support the Diabetes Research Institute.

I’ve been so busy I forgot to reblog this, which is ridiculous because it’s a video with me in it. I collect those.

BiancaRocksOut: Getting my Glitter Back SXSW10 Edition
The week started with getting off the plane and running to the tumblr party… from there, everything was a crazy awesome blur. Lindsay welcomed me and giant pale Dutch Justin made a great partner in crime.
I love SXSW because most of my friends are in the same place at the same time (both internet and music) and I run around and adventure with them.
There were some other bands I caught and other people I partied with, and didn’t get video of because my phone and camera were dead half the time. But I still love you guys.
Music: Wallpaper- I Got Soul, I’m So Wasted (appropriate for my SXSW on so many levels)
Watch me look at pretty clothing and do an awesome hair flip at the end.

Adventures at Cure Thrift Shop: Inspired by Rachel Zoe’s Wardrobe Essentials
Rachel Zoe posted her January “Not so Basic” Wardrobe Essentials, which inspired us to go through our own racks to find the pieces on her list. Check out Rachel’s post and see how we did!
No matter what your wardrobe essentials are, find them at Cure Thrift Shop and help the Diabetes Research Institute and the search for a cure!
Music: Redlight- Ghosts on FireInspired by: RachelZoe.com
It’s all about wardrobe essentials… and the moonwalk. (Don’t mind my lack of makeup. Bleh)
Getting my Glitter Back- (Part I)
Okay, so people keep asking what getting my glitter back even means. It basically means regaining some of the social life that I lost in the latter part of 2009.
And so I kick off my quest with this video at Terry & Igor’s new party, CIRCA, at Darkroom… and of course at the NC-17 party at Lit.
Let’s do a little video roll call:
Luna, Eric Strauss, Melanie, Igor, Prince Terrence, DJ Jess, Dan Baxter, Ryan (Lit), Cherry Tavern Jess
(if I forgot anyone that wants to be linked, let me know)
p.s. I know what the Hindenburg is
Adventures at Cure Thrift Shop: Behind the Cure Thrift Photo Shoot
Music: Vega- No Reasons

Ok now watch it!
Bringing Jacob’s GVPOYW: Gratuitous Video-Portrait of Yourself Wednesday back.
He’s also the one person who manages to make me shy in front of a camera. It’s ridiculous.
p.s. Jacob you can have one too.
What I’m pretty sure is Bianca’s IFC debut on Dinner With the Band! If you get IFC, the show premiers on November 24th.
Yay! I love this show because I love food, bands, and Sam Mason. 1:59, thank you very much. ;) I would have been dancing a lot harder were I not afraid of falling down the spiral staircase right next to me.
Adventures at Cure Thrift Shop: Fashion’s Night Out with Market Publique
We participated in Market Publique’s Pop-up shop for Fashion’s Night Out. Watch it all, from set up to party, with MP Co-Founder Pamela Castillo. Vintage fashions, champagne, and cupcakes… what could be better?!
Music: Lightning Sparks- Bearbot Mix
“Too much champagne! Okay… Start Over.”
You know a shopping event goes well when you walk in to work it wearing one outfit and walk out wearing another. But hey… I helped Pamela set up the space all day and exhausted myself with all the socializing. I say the new outfit, three cupcakes, and champagne were well deserved.

Music: Justice vs. Ratatat- We Are Your Friends (Bearbot Mix)
Look out for our Fall 2009 lookbook and visit the store for the Fall launch!
Thanks to Jenny for modeling and Eric for taking the photos. I was channeling Penny Lane a bit.
