This cover makes me want to make out with my friend Dan Ellis’s face.  Also, I might be in love with him now.  (I’m joining the club of all the girls who are now in love with him after watching this video.)

I meannn…. this song was in a batman movie guys. AND he’s playing all of the instruments.  Actually, Dan told me that he “made [me] a batman present in video form” meaning this is totes for me, which is a total lie but I’m just going to pretend that it is, because I like feeling special.  [back off bitches]

Drumming on My Own: I Want to Hit Things

And the theme of this “Drumming on my Own” in which I teach myself how to play is “I Want to Hit Things” [to release some aggression]… to Uh Huh Her’s ‘Not a Love Song’ which is wildly appropriate.

American Apparel NY Warehouse Sale- A Shopping/Dance Haul Video

As previously posted, American Apparel had invited Small Girls to the VIP Warehouse Pre-sale, and as previously posted, Mallory and I bought a lot of stuff.  I’m re-defining the shopping haul video with sweet dance moves… Let’s be honest, I’ve never been a fan of just talking about something. #dancefever

Drumming on My Own is the new Dancing On My Own

I decided I would just teach myself how to play drums, by playing to songs I like.  In this case, by Foster the People and Starfucker.

By ‘playing to’, I mean ‘dancing to’. C’mon. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves now.

As my 27th 25 again birthday nears (TOMORROW!), here’s a look at the last 3.5 years of my life in photos from my blog (yayyyy Pummelvision!).  

It’s a lot of parties, shows/bands, fashion, adventures, and of course pictures of myself.  All the things that I love (and post about)- fashion, music, rocking out.  

Kind of crazy to relive my social phases/friends, personal style, career, etc. from 3.5 years in 3.5 minutes.

I actually think I might play a little better when he’s not around, even though I had taken lessons from him 3 years ago… see also: this and this or this

Oh you know… being bored in class with hair in my face, and just wanting to be on my phone in a cab.  The usual. [oh right, and SEQUINS]

I realized I never actually posted this video on my blog.  Such a great day with Erin & Lani of Sugar Rock Catwalk, Sara Zucker, Claire Geist of DeLune Blog, and Casey Kettleson of Styled On.  We shot this after it had snowed like crazy… or maybe it was rain… I just remember walking through the sidewalks was not fun.
