The Interpreters, Drew Berry: Biomedical Animator

Um, this guy and the work he does is amazing.  Animations in this video include:

  • The Malaria Life Cycle
  • Apoptosis
  • and DNA Replication

The Malaria Life Cycle is a bit scary with the giant mosquito, but the DNA replication is cool.  You can see enzymes working on the strands of DNA- DNA helicases breaking the bonds, DNA polymerase replicating, etc. and so forth.

… yea ok. maybe i’m the only one that thinks this is cool…
