Charlotte Ronson- Spring 2009
Easy spring dressing. This dress by Charlotte Ronson is the perfect alternative to the oh so easy onesie.  Along the same lines, I do like to wear basic cotton tube dresses during the hot summer months, but this dress offers a little more style.  It has a slight sweetheart neckline, and is fitted around the torso, defining the waist.  And of course I do love a bit of metal, which is why the zipper running down the length of the dress speaks to me.  Cotton = breathable and not restricting.
While at SXSW I actually had to make an emergency outfit change where I took a friend’s navy blue cardigan sweater and turned it into a tube dress.  This CR dress kind of how it turned out.  Of course I wore it with cut-off denim shorts (because it wasn’t quite long enough to wear as a dress) and boots.
See photo below- please excuse the no makeup and disheveled hair… as it WAS my last day at sxsw.  A full version of the the look will be posted, when Super Volcano posts their tour video with me dancing around wearing the outfit. :)
