Talk about a heavy heart… There’s nothing worse than having a heavy heart… unless of course that heavy heart happens to be a solid brass necklace.  I’m glad I discovered the Bona Drag site yesterday, because not only did it lead me to those rockstar ballet slippers, but also to this amazing human heart necklace by Pamela Love. I love that you can actually see the left and right ventricles with the detailing (are those supposed to be the aorta and vena cava also? I can’t really tell… but anyway, it’s cool).  It makes it less cutesy than the other heart necklaces floating around in jewelry land (if you haven’t noticed I rarely do “cute” with my jewelry). Many people comment on how most of the jewelry I wear is a bit badass or dangerous- the noose, the tooth, the boxing gloves, handcuffs, the snake, etc.  I don’t think this is much different from that… having a heart is a very very dangerous thing… This may be the closest I’ll get to wanting one… (just kidding… i have a heart… as far as whoever has they keyyyyy, that is questionable).
