2/16/09 Streetpeeper.com Relaunch Party @ Tribeca Grand Luna and I hit up the Streetpeeper party at the Tribeca Grand hotel.  The crowd was filled with studded vests, ripped up jeans, tulle skirts, and the like. 2 Many DJ’s were spinning- and as always provided great dance tracks (I think I started dance-walking as I entered…I meannn, they were playing Hercules and Love Affair… how could I not?).  Such a cute and fashionable DJ duo, they make me wish that I could be 1/2 of a cute fashionable girl DJ duo- but alas, I do not know how to DJ… and so I dance. Met a few interesting people. I would say the most interesting was this guy who does voice overs for Sesame Street. Ran into Gabriel (who I always introduce with “this is Gabriel, he’s f*cking crazy…I love him”) and Nick (nickydigital).  The Misshapes walked in about 20 minutes before I left, and of course Leigh Lezark looked badass awesome. I’m actually a bit meh about my choice of dress… Def had a “I’m wearing zebra print… who the fuck do I think I am?!? Victoria Beckham???” moment.  yea maybe I was channeling VB a bit, but it’s fine because I love her.
