I was reading about the kooples in WWD the other day.  I made a comment to a friend that one guy pictured was really hot.  She replied with “Oh no… I don’t like it.”  I asked her what was wrong with him and she said  “He looks like he has all these feelings and emotions.  Who would want a guy like that?” I mean… he was dressed well.  Personally I am a fan of this campaign sarazucker: french retail chain the kooples (playing on the french saying “couples” in english) will be coming to the states really soon, so you better get acquainted. the store’s ad campaigns feature real-life couples scouted from facebook, myspace, and the street. their clothing is minimalist and simple, easily able to be traded between the sexes. they have already opened 20 stores in three months, and are planning on another 150 in the next three years, including ones in the united states.
