but last night was still amazing and eventful for me.  One of those- yes, NY I really fucking love you nights.

• First stop- Tumblr meetup
• Ran over to meet Luna at the Tribeca Grand Hotel for the GrandLife/Stylerepublik Inauguration Party.
• Disco Down at Happy Ending- I always love that crowd and the energy.  As always Jeremy and Antonio (Twig the Wonderkid) spun the best dance party music ever, Terry (Santogold’s drummer) guest DJ’d… saw all my Tuesday regulars, met some new people, Shawn was working, Melanie and I did our dance thing, champagne with The GlitterKids, etc. and so forth
• Ended my night as I usually do- Lit.  Introduced these visiting Swedes to my favorite downtown haven, sat on the DJ booth and bonded with Dave, hung out with my partner in crime Sass

I know it isn’t out of the ordinary for me to do numerous things in one night… but some nights are just better than others.  A little more excitement, a little less monotonous…just good happy fun.  Maybe it was the energy in the air from the fact that it was Inauguration Day… maybe it was my men’s shirt as a dress… I really don’t know, but I definitely had a good time.
