Recover- Bad Timing (video by Andrew Curran)

J worked the Recover show tonight (well i guess technically last night).  Popped my Recover cherry.  I think the phrase I heard the most was “It feels like 2002 again”, since the long hiatus the band had taken.  I was standing backstage with a guy in one of the other bands playing, and he continuously expressed how much he had been WAITING to see them play together again…  Shouts from the crowd saying “It’s been too long…”

I’m really glad I came out to see them play- the show was fucking amazing.  I hung out with Andrew (who shot this video in 2001) for most of the night, as he told me about the old days and touring with the guys.

After seeing them play post-hardcore tonight… I can’t wait to see them all play dance rock tomorrow night- Young Love at The Studio @ Webster Hall.  (hopefully they won’t be too sore from all the headbanging…)
