Party D & I went to on Thursday.  It was pretty amazing.  The roof only had a 150 capacity so it wasn’t too crowded.  The grassy knoll hill in the middle of roof, as described by the article, was aesthetically interesting, but also ended up being a great area for everyone to sit (vs. a bunch of tables or seats).  Everyone was just lounging (except for me because I was in a short white skirt) just drinking their cocktails, conversing and listening to the music as we all awaited MGMT to play.  And then of course when the band took to stage, most people got up to dance.

[side note: There was one boy who I met and then randomly ran into at Lit the next night- he claimed we had actually met somehwere in brooklyn prior to the Dazed & Confused party.  I don’t remember his name or his band’s name… and it’s kind of bothering me that i STILL can’t place it]
