Nylon TV: New York

This video is about a year old, but basically captures why I love this city.  Various bands and dj’s discuss the gems of New York and why the city is so amazing- shot in/around a lot of places that I go (downtown ny/lower east side/brooklyn), it puts a smile on my face whenever I watch. 

… it also might explain the conversation I just had with my friend Tom.

me: So i’ve come to the conclusion that 90% of the guys you meet in new york are in a band.

Tom: no… 90% of the guys YOU meet in NY are in a band… they’re all you hang out with

me: no… i mean a sufficient amount of guys I meet randomly, on the street and at bars, etc. are in a band or is a dj or something…

Tom: That’s because you hang out where bands or guys in bands or dj’s hang out…
