I shall be wearing this dress (http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kyzwkh2vnu1qzrcl2o1_500.png) to prom at the end of April, but I'm totally lost on shoes and jewellery to go with it, as well as what to do with my hair. I'm not very girly, so I'm even more confused when I see sparkles and ruffles on shoes! The only idea I have is red shoes/lips.

Any ideas?

I too get confused… with almost everything… but lucky for you sparkles and ruffles are NOT on the list of things that confuse me.

I do have the tendency of wearing girly pieces with things that make the look a little rough around the edges.  Totally predictable on my part, but if I were wearing that dress I would do it with black heels (probably studded) like these:

(okay I would probably wear boots, but I classed it up since it’s your prom and all)

and long earrings… dark and threaded, something with little black chains or these awesome tear drops:

Hair pulled back in a poufed up ‘fancy yet messy’ ponytail of sorts.  Yep… that would be my take.
