I have every issue of NYLON from 2006 -2008, with a couple of repeats and a scattering of issues from 2004. But all of my 2005 issues are gone. I think they were purged during the great “All of My Bookshelves Fell Down!” fiasco of freshman year.
Dad: Is that a box full of…the same magazine?
Me: Yes.
Dad: And you want me to move that.
Me: (long pause) Yes?
My dad accidentally trashed all my old Sassy and Jane Mags when he moved in with my stepmom. It was a sad day.
1. I was just talking to someone about Sassy magazine and how amazing it was.
2.I save all issues of my favorite magazines (i think i have every issue of lucky since launch prior to even working there). Certain magazines I save issues that i LOVE LOVE LOVE & for future reference. My roomie threw out a bunch a few weeks ago, when I desparately needed to look something up in one. It was HEARTBREAKING.
