Smitten. According to dictionary.com the definition of smitten is as follows:

It has a more negative connotation than what people think when you hear the word smitten… and yet still SO appropriate, because usually when one is smitten it comes out of nowhere like someone hit you in the face with it (with rhinestone brass knucks).
I’ve only really been smitten maybe twice once… and that’s exactly what it was like.
