What’s in a name?
My father named me after her… Bianca Jagger, best known as Mick Jagger’s first wife… also known as one of my hero’s
(although I think it was moreso the fact that she was in the movie Cannonball Run- which,as a car fanatic, was one of my father’s favorite movies).
I always joke that I think it set the tone for my life… I mean, it was either Bianca or Blanche (which is what my mother wanted to name me… and as eric says-Eric: i prefer bianca  blanche makes me think of the golden girls  bianca makes me think of “holla”
I couldn’t even imagine what I would have turned out like had I been named Blanche!
At any rate, I love her because she’s ba.da- I mean Mick Jagger’s first wife. She was a Studio 54 goer and a Warhol girl.  An artist I’m working with was telling me that back in the day, he used to go to this really trendy tribeca restaurant that she hung out at just so he could be in her presence.
Rockin awesome.
