jacob: These flowers are all the same age, but the water in the graduated cylinders and cream soda bottles are disgusting while the water in the Coke bottle is perfectly clear. Why is that, internet? 1) I bought those flowers on October 23rd! 2) I TOLD you it’s because I got that coke bottle from Ronen and Ronen is magic. Actually it was more like, I ran into Ronen and some of the Johnsons behind Puck Fair and Ronen tried to get me to throw that away but I saved it because I thought it would look cool in our apartment… I like to bring random things home that I think would look cool in our apartment. On that note, I think I might buy new flowers today…

  5. nsurl answered: Probably a bit of coke left in the bottle, lowering the pH (because of the acids in the coke), bacteria aren’t happy in low pH.
