OMG. So I didn’t get peeved over the John Varvatos at CBGB like many “rock purists” did… in fact I was really ok with it, as I posted before….

BUT a STEVE AND BARRY’S at the TOWER RECORDS SPACE?!?!

I am a huge shopper, always open to great deals. In fact I don’t think that the lines sold at Steve and Barry’s (aka the Sarah Jessica Parker’s line and the Amanda Bynes line) aren’t half bad. I understand that for retailers it’s got to be about location, location, location. And what better location than on the corner of 4th and Broadway.

But the idea of this store in the old Tower Records space is not sitting well with me.
