Citizen Kane: Christopher Kane for Topshop
No, we’re not referring to that epic classic about the publishing mogul, we’re talking about London based designer, Christopher Kane. Kane has worked with the likes of Manolo Blahnik and Swarovski, and today he launches his capsule collection for Topshop.
Our picks from the collection are the Eyelet Lace dress ($310) and the Gem Bustcup dress ($260).  When one thinks of eyelet you normally think white, pinafore type looks.  Well these eyelets are the metal hardware kind, remixed with some black lace.  And who could resist that Gem Bustcup dress in the deep blue.  It’s very Ice Capades, and we love it.
Wear it with:
We’re thinking stay with the deep hues on the black eyelet dress… but maybe a different direction than traditional black on black.  The Yves Saint Laurent Suede Nadia Petal Hobo, below, can make the look a bit sweeter.

A gold clutch would bring out the gems on the Gem Bustcup dress and offer a good contrast to the blue.  This Gold Mirrored Bag by Jalda would be perfect.

Both bags available on DesignerSocial.com
