This is a blog of things that I love: fashion, music, rocking out, batman and this one.

Co-founder of Small Girls PR and 27 year old girl about (down)town NY & BK.

Ask me anything.

I also love emails. bianca@biancarocksout.com

My blog was designed by the awesome Jacob Bijani.

Except in my world, Mr.Big is a guy in a band that I met on tour 6 years ago, Berger is a [starving] artist, and the post-it is an email.

You’re such a good dancer. If I was a rapper, I’d make you my lady.

Best compliment ever?

No one does pre-Oscars like CHANEL. Last night at Madeo in Beverly Hills pretty young things turned out in full force (and head to toe in their favorite designer) to fête fashion and film with Charles Finch.

I took a moment to freak out about all of these outfits. #goodlook #CHANEL #intoit

Because you’ve got the look & you’re a good dancer:
You’re invited to celebrate Tortoise & Blonde Eyewear’s newest collection and The Jane Doze ‘Girls Talk’ mashup mixtape release
Fresh off spinning an official Grammy’s event, The Jane Doze will debut their GIRLS TALK mixtape alongside Tortoise & Blonde’s after party-ready Collection 2 frames.
The eyewear company your mother warned you about, Tortoise & Blonde styles are made to be worn loudly. Tortoise & Blonde believes the right look can completely change the way you are seen & heard. While Collection 1 introduced classic frames, Collection 2 edges on stylistic boundaries… like a good little rebel should.
Blasting the beats is female DJ duo The Jane Doze, presenting their debut mashup mixtape, GIRLS TALK. Whether you’re fighting off last night’s hangover, looking for a good workout mix, or sipping adult beverages poolside — this tape’s got a little something for everyone. Put your antlers up and party on.
Monday, February 27th : 8PM-11PM : 8-9pm open bar sponsored by TY KU
Anti-hangover provided by Drink Mercy

Yotel : 570 10th Avenue : (between 41st & 42nd)

We’re throwing an event for Small Girls client, Tortoise & Blonde, and DJ mashup duo, The Jane Doze on Monday! Rock out with us!

Works on Paper by The Library is On Fire

Anonymous asked: Can I take you out for lunch one day?

only if you stay anonymous.

… wait, what?

no but really. I love lunch… so i’m down.

NYLON TV: NYFW Phillip Lim F/W12

Nylon TV is one of those daily musts for me, in terms of trolling the internet for awesome things I’d probably be into. This video of Phillip Lim’s F/W12 collection is already awesome on its own… but it was an even more pleasant surprise to hear one my best friends Steve’s band, The Library is On Fire in the background (or if you follow me on all my internets, what I constantly refer to as TLIOF).

Listen to They Don’t Know You (Like I Know You), and the rest of their album Works on Paper here.

<3 it so much!

Into this.

Into this.

isparkfotography asked: How much do yo think you have grown in the last 7 years ?

I’ve been 5’0” for… I would say since I was 16.

If you’re not talking about height, you can go through my archives and see how much I’ve grown, as documented on this blog, for the last 3 years or so.

But… for the last 7 years I’ve

 • been to fashion school
 • lived in 2 countries
 • graduated from fashion school
 • worked in a corporate setting
 • didn’t work and partied for a year (but expanded my horizons in the world of the downtown ny social/music scene)
 • been through maybe 10 different social phases/groups (at least)
 • lived in the UES, Nolita, Brooklyn, East Village, Brooklyn again, East Village again, then Brooklyn again
 • been in my only real serious adult relationship
 • ended that only real serious adult relationship
 • dated a lot before and after this only real serious relationship
 • quite possibly might be in the throes of another real serious relationship… or possibly in the throes of another fleeting relationship (i don’t know yet)
 • started my own company
 • maintained running the company for a year and a half
 • and ate a lot of cake

How much growth do you think that would amount to? Idk. A lot?

Also, if that’s what you meant, that’s a mad deep question. If that’s not what you meant, go back to my first sentence and ignore the quick bullet point re-hashing of my life that I just did.

The Things I Wear: BFB Launch in Le BF’s Shirt
also titled “I’m like… the superhero for men’s shirts”
So, Mal and I stopped by the BFB Launch party at Milk Studios a couple of weeks ago… I know, I know, 2 weeks later? What? I’ve been busy. Cut a girl some slack on her personal blogging, yo. There will probably be more ‘week late’ party outfits coming your way.
At any rate, my sentiments on this outfit and the sort of anecdote about how the BF hates plaid button up shirts is the same even if it is 2 weeks later. [Again, I know… WHAT?? I’m dating a guy who hates wearing plaid button up shirts… idk, i just dk. Don’t give me that look. Sometimes, it’s just about the guy behind the (not plaid button-up) shirt. Does that statement make me less shallow, btw?]
I took this one off his hands (tags still attached after a year of owning), and decided to wear it out. By taking it off his hands, I mean he literally handed it to me saying he was never going to wear it. I can’t let a perfectly good men’s shirt just go to waste, hidden in a drawer where it’ll never see the light of day! I have plans for you shirt! Don’t worry.
In my version of the urban cowboy look- tied at the waist, with grey denim, a moto jacket, and moto boots-I was ready to dance the night away, and match le biz partner at a super fun fashion/media party. Thanks to me the shirt got to stand two feet away from Russel Simmons. I’m sure that never in its wildest dreams did it think that would ever happen… ever, let alone on its first public outing. Also, thanks to Lindsey Green & BFB for the invite.
Serving & protecting men’s shirts forever.
