Dance Like There's No One In The Room
Greg: You know what's great about you? You have an energy on the dance floor. You see other girls going out just so people can see how good they look, what dress they're wearing. They don't really move and you can tell they're watching to see if people are looking at them. You... you're fun to watch because you look like you're having fun. You smile when you dance, and you feel the music.
Me: Yea I know... sometimes I don't even really pay attention to what's going on around me. I just want to dance. It's the best feeling in the world.

Valerie Collective NY debut @ Webster Hall: Photos... →
I have to say The Valerie Collective NY debut on Friday was really amazing. Amazing amazing french electronic dance music- the kind where you shut your eyes and forget about everything when you’re on the dance floor (haven’t really felt that way since the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival) They had a live synth/programmer/keyboardist playing with the DJ’s. So good.

Sara’s post reminded me to blog this. My friend Spam’s show at Fuse Gallery. I actually went to go check it out yesterday since I missed the opening party and he walked me through.
I love the depth in his artwork (like literal depth, with the acrylic on glass, shadow box layers thing going).
