The thing about having one of your bff's who tours a lot and you don't get to see so often is that they can make the observations that people who see you every day cant. And though it had only been a few weeks since I last saw KCoff apparently had a lot to say:
Upon my arrival at Blender
Kev: You look good!
Me: Thanks!
Kev: You're hair is longer! It looks better.
Me: ughhh yea I know I know you hated my short hair
Kev: ... well you know I like your hair longer...
Kev: and nice boots
Me: they're my starwars boots you've seen these before I wear them all the time
Kev: I like that you're wearing flats
Me: Kevin I rarely ever wear heels anymore...
Kev: yea I know you don't really wear heels, but I'm just saying I like it better when you wear flats.

My Tour of the Asteroids Galaxy... with some help...
Alright GBH boys… you can have your lead singer of The Asteroids Galaxy Tour… she’s cute, stylish, and the show was awesome. After seeing them play, I’ve developed a band member crushes on the saxophone player, the drummer, and the keyboardist/guitar player (there was something about his where’s waldo hat, white henley, suspenders, and scruff/mustache… hot).

me: getting ready to go to happy ending. i have to meet my partner for that new event we're working on and she's going to six six sick early and then we're going to The Box. where are you?
him: at Lit (i called that one by the way). was supposed to have band practice, but it got cancelled. (typical)
... blah blah blah... something about seeing me at happy ending around 11: 30... 10 bucks says he doesn't get there till 1 and i will get a phone call asking me where i am and why am i not at happy ending...

(this is what I miss from not coming home as often as I should...also apparently my littler brother is now 17... I didn't know that either)
although essentially I should've not been so surprised. when I lived in london my parents failed to tell me they traded my mercedes in to get themselves a new Jaguar...their reason being that I don't drive anymore

A message from Abe Cunningham of the Deftones
The Deftones is one of my all time favorite bands… Abe Cunningham being in my top 3 drummers that I love (one of the first beats I learned to play was the one to Around the Fur). I had a random urge last week to listen to a bunch of old deftones songs. At any rate, Chi Cheng, their bassist apparently got into a car accident and is currently in a coma. It’s pretty fucking tragic.
